For a total of 86k. So it actually makes no difference for shutter count. I know this is an old post, but just wanted to say that I used Tornado EOS and turned C Log on. Very easy to do. The software downgrades your firmware, enables C Log and the re-updates back to the current firmware version.
Go to Canon's website, search for the 5D IV and you'll find a "support" link. This will take you to the page that lets you download the software (it'll likely prompt you to type in the serial number of your camera). Run the installer and it will replace all the old versions of software with current versions.

My EOS 5D Mark IV won't update firmware. I have never updated the firmware (currently 1.0.1. I downloaded 1.3.3 for Mac OS and placed on the root directory of my SD card (that I have been successfully using to record photo files).
