Jun 9, 2023. #2. Welcome, it sounds like you are looking at the NC (3rd generation) for which the power hard top is referred to as a PRHT (power retractable hard top). There was a RHT (removable hard top) option for the soft top. Some people prefer the PRHT over the soft top as it offers better security and is better insulated against noise I don't think there's a real shortage of hardtop convertible selection, though. All Mercedes, BMW 3 and 6, Lexus IS-C, VW EOS, Infiniti whatever the hell it's called now with the new stupid Q naming scheme, Chrysler 200, hell even the Jeep Wrangler has a removable hardtop factory option and you can get an NC Miata with a power hardtop.
