It's not temperature, it's not glow plugs, has to be fuel. I now think it's draining back over time, the hp pump is able to pressurise some Injectors, but some are starved due to air pockets. Over time, it bleeds itself out. On a few occasions, it has started with no lumpyness at all but 8 out of 10 times, lump city.

Re: berlingo 1.9d van wont start. by spider » Sun Aug 19, 2012 1:52 pm. Check for fuel as above, just undo one injector pipe (injector end) a half a turn or a turn at most. Pop a piece of rag around it. Crank the engine for a few seconds then go and see if the rag is wet with fuel or not. Andy.
