Remove the power cord by unscrewing the connections on the terminal block on the circuit board. Then remove the jumper wire from the "Red AC" section. Move the number 10 dipswitch down and that converts it to 240v. Your electrician will then bring in the neutral, 2 hot wires and a ground wire and you are good to go.
Swap out the breaker to a 15 or 20 amp single pole, put the second hot onto the neutral bar, replace the socket with a 120v 15 or 20 amp socket. There is no adapter to do this, you probably have at least 30 amps and your 120v stuff you want to plug in are 20 amps max. If you have to ask this you should call an electrician.

Yes indeed! Is the source 120V single phase, or 120/208 3ø? There's a huge difference, plus if the elevator is 3ø it cannot be powered by a single phase source feeding a 3ø transformer. BTW, a 75KVA 3ø transformer with one side 480∆ and the other side 120/208 wye will have a 480 current of 90.2 amps and a 120/208 current of 208 amps at
